Masaboca is an intensive, 3-month incubation boot camp that facilitate emerging young designers and help them through the design process from concept to production to business plans and markets.
Guided by Rumah Sanur staff and external partners, the inaugural round of Masaboca welcomed Paola Cannuciari from Eco Bali Recycling and BEDO representatives to be mentors.
The participants who have been selected for this program are:
- Andri Nur Oesman & Tami Primanisa and their aim to turn paper waste into recycled paper.
- Adhitya Gunawan and his idea to create a plastic replacement shopping bag
- Arunika Design Team who will recreate fabric and coffee waste into home decor and artworks.
The selection criteria which had given by the mentors included participants’ enthusiasm and seriousness in presenting their ideas, market opportunities which they had, and the willingness of participants to collaboration in developing their ideas.

The results of the Masaboca program will be launched at Rumah Sanur – Creative Hub in December 2018 to local business owners and service providers.
