How time flies, it feels like it was just yesterday the Rumah Sanur – Creative Hub team was painting the rooms, mixing and matching the furniture, and holding a relatively low-key launch party.
Rumah Sanur has grown so much since then. Three years on, there are three performance stages—more than 600 events were rolled out last year alone. Rumah Sanur has partnered with 160 small-to-medium enterprises, is an inclusive space with purpose-built facilities for diffability access and has fostered international collaborations with entities from Thailand, Singapore, Germany, France, Australia and other countries.
Since Rumah Sanur started in 2015, it has become a pivotal public space that presents discussions on various aspects of socio-cultural, global and concentrated local wisdom that attracts members of 16 sub-sectors of the creative industries and people from all walks of life.
To celebrate our growth, Rumah Sanur is presenting 10 hours of non-stop entertainment this Friday. We have designed a program that represents the essence of Rumah Sanur’s community. Starting with a discussion on creative spaces, continuing with a Tintin Collector comic talk, a fashion show by to~ko involving products from our SME partners, plus brilliant local performances from emerging and veteran performers including Alien Child, The Celtic Room and The Hydrant, as well as being overrun by the action of Oomleo Karaoke.

Cepat sekali waktu berlalu. Rasanya baru kemarin mengecat ruangan, memadupadankan perabotan, menyelenggarakan pesta perdana relatif sederhana. Kini Rumah Sanur kian luas jangkauannya.
Panggung pertunjukan sekarang sudah ada tiga. Penyelenggaraan acara rutin dan beruntun—tahun lalu saja lebih dari 600 acara digulirkan. Pula mengajakserta 160 UMKM berniaga. Rumah Sanur merupakan ruang inklusif tanpa batas serta dinamis yang juga memiliki fasilitas akses difabilitas. Kami telah berkolaborasi dengan banyak entitas internasional di antaranya dari Thailand, Singapura, Jerman, Perancis, Australia, dan lainnya.
Ya, hanya dalam waktu tiga tahun Rumah Sanur telah bertransformasi menjadi ruang publik nan masif; mengakomodir beragam aspek sosio-kultural nan glocal—berwawasan global dan pekat kearifan lokal; ajang berinteraksi secara intens tak cuma para penggiat 16 sub sektor industri kreatif juga aneka lapisan masyarakat.
Progresi sedemikian pesat pantas dirayakan. Dengan padat dan spartan: 10 jam tiada jeda. Untuk itu telah dirancang bermacam program yang merepresentasikan puspawarna ekosistem Rumah Sanur. Mulai dari diskusi tentang ruang kreatif, berlanjut dengan kongkow-kongkow bicara komik Tintin, pagelaran busana oleh To-Ko yang melibatkan produk-produk dari para partner UMKM, penampilan jajaran grup musik lokal brilian, baik muda mau pun veteran: Alien Child, Celtic Room, dan The Hydrant; serta dipuncaki oleh
aksi Oomleo Berkaraoke.
